Our locations.

Freiburg im Breisgau: Headquarters and campus.

The sunny Green City Freiburg has been the headquarters of Haufe Group since our foundation, and our campus, with seven buildings, is home to our brands Haufe, Haufe Akademie and Lexware. Whether in open spaces, on our roof terrace or in our multi-award-winning Rudolf’s company restaurant – we offer a wealth of opportunities for coming together and being together.

Berlin: Trailblazer for training.

The ‘Leuchtenfabrik’, an industrial loft located directly on the River Spree, is home to the Haufe Semigator team. Our platform for efficient corporate and further training processes helps companies and their workforces to easily find and book their ideal further training.

Bielefeld: Software for the real estate industry.

The Bielefeld location is the focus of our expertise in the housing and real estate industry. We develop, support and distribute our enterprise resource planning systems Haufe axera, Haufe InHouse, Haufe PowerHaus and Haufe wowinex as well as Lexware Hausverwaltung, our management tool for private landlords.

Neu-Isenburg: Training and further development.

The Haufe Akademie ‘Inhouse Training & Consulting’ team is housed in a heritage-protected former ladder factory in the direct vicinity of Frankfurt. The site supports our customers’ development in the areas of consulting leadership, project management, human relations, digitalization and transformation.

Stuttgart – we can do content.

The renowned specialist publisher Schäffer-Poeschel has been part of Haufe Group since 2014 and shapes our location in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg. This is where a team of 33 colleagues develop, produce and market high-quality specialist content related to business and tax topics. With the Haufe book publishing unit in Munich we make up the Publishing division of Haufe Group.

Munich: Marketing, sales & publishing.

Munich, Haufe Group’s second most established location, is home to a wide range of different divisions. Around 100 employees work here in the areas of publishing, sales and marketing, and there’s also an office of the Haufe Akademie along with a small site administration that keeps everything perfectly in tune.

Würzburg: Content in Skyline Hill.

The innovative Skyline Hill district has been home to our Würzburg site since 2023. Our workspaces in the newly built SKYONE are ideally designed for collaboration in the content sector. In the editorial division we design and produce media such as ‘DW Die Wohnungswirtschaft’ and ‘Bilanz + Buchhaltung’. The area of media sales implements the successful marketing of these publications.

Hanover: Tax explained smartly.

Hanover is our tax hub and the headquarters of smartsteuer GmbH, the market leader for online tax returns. We develop highly useful tax software and ideas for private individuals, the self-employed and small businesses. Our teamwork and collaboration is also pioneeringly smart – we have no hierarchies, but ‘responsibility triangles’ and ‘strategy circles’ instead, and each of us is a manager.

Hamburg: Media & software for the real estate industry.

Our Hamburg office in the Barmbek district develops content and software for the real estate industry. We publish journalistic real estate media such as our magazine ‘DW Die Wohnungswirtschaft’ and provide consulting and quality assurance for our real estate software products.

Timișoara: Our tech hub in Romania.

Our office in Timișoara housing more than 100 software engineers is one of Haufe Group’s most dynamic tech hubs. We develop innovative, intuitive and user-friendly web, mobile, desktop and cloud services. Full-stack mentality applies: We have a passion for equipping companies with technologies that make work more agile and better.

Cluj: Welcome to TransITvania Valley.

With over 1,500 IT companies and internationally attractive universities, Cluj-Napoca is one of the most pleasant cities in Romania – and a genuine melting pot. It’s also the place where 27 people work in the areas of software development, back office, consulting and sales to consistently develop our products for the real estate industry.

Barcelona: Hi tech!

Barcelona has been the Product & Tech Hub of Haufe Group Software Solutions Spain since 2016, and our offices in the city’s tallest building offer a breathtaking view of the sea. With this vista, our team of 55 colleagues from 17 nations develops tailor-made software service solutions for customers – from initial concept to production and implementation.
